About us 

Kids Connection is situated in the centre of Hertford. Having sold school uniform for the past 17 years, we have established a good reputation for our great quality uniforms and excellent personal service. Barnwell Middle and Upper school uniform will be kept in store all year round.   

Online Ordering 

You can buy uniform online at www.kidsconnection.co.uk Order and pay online and choose delivery (£3.50) or pick up in store (free) or free delivery to the Upper School last Wednesday of the month (if that’s a holiday the Wednesday before not in holidays) 

Important! 

We endeavour to keep all sizes in stock all year round. Keep in mind August is our busiest time so stocks do run low. Early orders  for START OF TERM would be appreciated.  Sizes can be changed before the start of school if your child grows during the summer holidays.

Parking 

Kids Connection is accessible by train, bus, and car. There are many car parks in Hertford, all within walking distance. Bring your car park rebate voucher in store with you and receive 1.5 hrs refund (80p) when you spend £20.00 or more.

School Uniform - The key priorities for the uniform are that: 

• It fits with the school vision 
• It is clear and consistent in design 
• It is smart and practical 
• It is affordable for parents   

The new uniform is: 

• A year group tie: Yr 7-Orange stripe, Yr 8- Red stripe, Yr 9-Purple stripe, Yr 10-Yellow stripe, Yr 11 no stripe.
• A Navy blue blazer with school logo.
• Standard white shirt, short or long sleeved (available from supermarkets and High Street stores) Top button fastened and shirt tucked in.
• Black trousers - no ‘skinny’, leather, combat or denim style, leggings or jogging bottoms
• Socks – plain white or black
• Smart black closed shoes only – No sandals, boots, trainers, plimsolls or canvas style are permitted. Every part of the shoe must be completely black.

SPORTS UNIFORM:

All students are required to wear the following kit when participating in lessons:

• Red/Black Barnwell Polo Shirt
• Black shorts (with red stripe or Skorts, tracksuit bottoms or Barnwell Sport Leggings)
• Red socks
• Appropriate Footwear such as sports trainers (no plimsolls, converse or canvas trainers are allowed, due to safety reasons)

Depending on the sport you may also require the following

• Shin pads 
• Football boots
• Mouth guards

Optional kit 

• Barnwell hooded jumper
• Black under layers can be worn under the Barnwell Logo sports top
• Gymnastics shoes
