Your member groups may like to know about the new FREE training opportunities available at NHC to help people back to work after redundancy.
The courses are offered at the Goldsmith Centre in Letchworth, our Hitchin centre, and at InTown Training in
· Producing or updating a CV
· One to one advice from a Personal Job Coach on current employment opportunities
· Assessment of maths, English and ICT skills
· Internet access and guidance on making online applications
· Advice on Interview techniques, presentation skills and making a successful application
In addition, we’re working with Job Centres to offer training for those industries currently recruiting in the area; the courses on offer are:
· Customer care and sales
· Health & social care
· Security
· Retail – including the sale of alcohol
· Computers and business administration
· Assessor training
· Preparing to teach adults (PTLLS)
