The school has been a designated Business and Enterprise Specialist School from September 2004. Specialist schools while having a special emphasis on their chosen subject areas in our case Math's, Business and IT, must also offer a broad and balanced education to all their students.
Business and Enterprise was chosen as our specialty, not only for the obvious relevance to today's world of work but also because in the words of our Head teacher, enterprise can include
'Any good idea we had not thought of before'
