Barnwell School was first awarded 'Sportsmark' by Sports England in recognition of our wide range of extra curricular and sports activities in 1997.
In 2000 we were again given this prestigious award.
In 2003 and 2006 we were re-accredited, due to outstanding contribution to Physical Education and extra curricular sport, the Sportmark Gold Award.
