SEAL
SEAL - Social Emotional Aspects of Learning (SEAL) is an underpinning philosophy and way of working within a school, that draws on the positive aspects of; personal and social development, emotional literacy, emotional intelligence, and social and emotional competence and social, emotional and behavioural skills.
SEAL operates around 5 broad social and emotional aspects of learning
- self awareness
- managing feelings
- motivation

- social skills
It is helpful to view these in two categories:
the personal (e.g. self awareness) and
the interpersonal (e.g. social skills)
