Happy School
Barnwell is officially a Happy School and has won a national competition to prove it. Internationally known education expert Alistair Smith and his company, Alite, organised a national competition to find the countries happiest school. Miss Ellinger decided to enter the competition. The result was an entry explaining why she thought Barnwell is great, happy and fun and why we should win.
Imagine our surprise when it was announced that we have won! Our prize is to have a DVD made at Barnwell in February 2008 by Alistair Smith which will be used by his team of educationalists and will be available for us to use at Barnwell. Well done to everyone for being such a Happy School.
